Website terms
Clear boundaries for public information.
This website provides general information about the proposed LIG service. It is not professional advice and does not create a client relationship.
General information
Content is provided to explain the intended scope and approach of Litigation Intelligence Group. It must not be relied upon as legal, surveying, engineering, health and safety, regulatory or other specialist advice.
No engagement
Submitting an enquiry does not appoint LIG or create a duty of care, contract, retainer or confidential adviser relationship. Any engagement requires agreed written scope, responsibilities, limitations and terms.
The LIG Standard
The LIG Property Condition & Remedial Schedule is an operational, Scott Schedule-style record produced within an agreed assessment scope. It is not a CPR Part 35 expert report, statutory certificate, legal opinion, repair design, quotation or warranty of hidden conditions. Formal expert evidence and matters outside LIG competence require an appropriately instructed specialist.
Professional boundaries
LIG’s proposed work is observational assessment, prevention intelligence and action recommendation within an agreed competence. It does not certify statutory compliance, determine legal liability, design repairs or replace appropriately qualified specialists.
Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken over website content, but no warranty is given that it is complete, continuously available or suitable for a particular decision. Service scope, availability and commercial terms are confirmed only in writing.
Intellectual property
Website content, The LIG Standard, the LIG name, presentation and described operating concepts are protected to the extent permitted by law. The confidential LIG Method, decision rules and internal workflow are not disclosed by this website.
